CartFlows Product Options

CartFlows Pro includes a feature called Product Options that lets you offer more than one product, in more than one quantity, right on the checkout page. Shoppers can switch between product variations, adjust quantity, and see the price update instantly, all without leaving checkout.

How Product Options Works

When Product Options is turned on for a checkout step, a Your Products section appears on that checkout page listing the product (or products) you’ve configured for it.

  • Shoppers can pick between the products you’ve offered, depending on how you’ve set it up: all of them included automatically, a single choice, or multiple choices.
  • If a product has variations (like size or color), shoppers choose them right there on checkout.
  • If quantity is turned on, shoppers can increase or decrease how many they want with simple plus and minus buttons, and the price updates immediately.

The shopper never has to leave the checkout page to change what they’re buying, and every change is reflected in the order total right away.

How to Set Up Product Options

Product Options is configured per checkout step, so you can turn it on for some funnels and leave it off for others.

Step 1. From the WordPress admin, go to CartFlows → Funnels and open the funnel that contains the checkout step you want to update.

Step 2. Click the Settings icon (cog icon) of the Checkout step.

Step 3. In the left sidebar, under Products, click Product Options.

Step 4. Turn on Enable Product Options.

Step 5. Choose how shoppers can interact with your products using Enable Conditions:

  • Restrict user to purchase all products — every product you’ve added is included automatically, and can’t be removed.
  • Let user select one product from all options — the shopper picks a single product from the list.
  • Let user select multiple products from all options — the shopper checks off as many products as they like.

Step 6. Turn on Enable Variations if any of your products have variations (like size or color) you want shoppers to choose at checkout. Then choose Show variations inline to display the choices directly on the product, or Show variations in popup to open them in a separate window.

Step 7. Turn on Enable Quantity if you want shoppers to be able to adjust how many of a product they’re buying directly on checkout.

Step 8. Click Save Settings at the top right.

Step 9. Back on the Products tab (under the Products section in the sidebar), each product you add gets its own row with a few extra controls:

  • Default — a toggle that controls whether this product is included/selected for the shopper by default.
  • Qty — the quantity shown to the shopper when the page first loads.
  • Discount — a dropdown with Original (no discount), Percentage, or Price (a fixed discounted price). Choosing Percentage or Price reveals a field to enter the discount value.

Step 10. Click the gear icon on a product row to customize it further:

  • Product Name — a custom name shown instead of the product’s regular title. You can use {{product_name}} and {{quantity}} placeholders to pull in the product’s own details automatically.
  • Subtext — a short line shown under the product name. You can use {{quantity}}, {{discount_value}}, and {{discount_percent}} placeholders here.
  • Enable Highlight — turn this on to reveal a Highlight Text field, letting you add a short badge (for example, “Best Value”) to draw attention to that product.

Product Options is now active on that checkout step.

The Products Section in Action

Once Product Options is set up, shoppers see the Your Products section on your checkout page as soon as it loads, with each product shown as its own card.

If quantity is enabled, a number field with and + buttons lets shoppers adjust how many they want. The price updates immediately, with no page reload.

If you’ve enabled variations on a product, the shopper chooses their options right there before continuing, either inline on the card or in a popup window, depending on how you’ve configured it.
