RTL Language Support in Modern Cart
Modern Cart includes built-in RTL (Right-to-Left) language support. When your WordPress site is set to an RTL language such as Arabic, Hebrew, or Persian, Modern Cart automatically loads the appropriate RTL stylesheets and adjusts its layout accordingly.
How RTL Support Works
Modern Cart detects RTL direction automatically using WordPress’s built-in is_rtl() function. No manual configuration is needed. The plugin ships with dedicated RTL CSS files:
- cart-rtl.css / cart-rtl.min.css — Cart tray layout
- admin-notices-rtl.css — Admin notices
- splide-rtl.css — Product recommendations carousel
- settings-rtl.css — Admin settings panel
Enabling RTL
Follow these steps to enable RTL language support:
1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General
2. Set your Site Language to an RTL language (e.g., Arabic, Hebrew)
3. Save changes. WordPress will automatically switch to RTL mode.
4. Modern Cart will load RTL stylesheets automatically — no additional setup required.

Percentage Display in RTL
Modern Cart also adjusts text formatting for RTL. For example, savings percentages are displayed as “%10” in RTL mode instead of “10%” to match RTL typography conventions. This is handled automatically.
Notes
- RTL support works with both Modern Cart Starter and Modern Cart Pro.
- If you notice layout issues in RTL mode, clear your caching plugin’s cache after switching languages.
