Free Shipping Progress Bar
The Free Shipping Progress Bar shows customers how much more they need to add to their cart to qualify for free shipping. It encourages higher order values and is displayed at the top of the Modern Cart slide-out.
Prerequisites
Before enabling the progress bar, make sure you have Free Shipping configured in WooCommerce:
1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping.
2. Add or edit a Shipping Zone.
3. Add a Free Shipping method and set a minimum order amount.
4. Save the shipping settings.
Here is the Doc on How to Enable Free Shipping in WooCommerce
| Note: The progress bar reads the free shipping threshold directly from WooCommerce. If no free shipping method is configured, the bar will not display even when enabled. |
Enabling the Progress Bar
1. Go to WooCommerce > Modern Cart in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Click the General tab.
3. Toggle on Enable Free Shipping Bar.

Customizing the Progress Bar Text
You can customize the messages shown to customers:
1. Go to WooCommerce > Modern Cart > Text Label tab.
2. Update the following fields:
- Free Shipping Bar Text — Shown while the customer has not yet reached the threshold. Use {amount} as a dynamic placeholder for the remaining amount. Default: “You’re {amount} away from free shipping!”
- Free Shipping Success Text — Shown once the customer has qualified for free shipping. Default: “Awesome pick! You’ve unlocked free shipping.”

How It Looks in the Cart
The progress bar appears at the top of the cart, below the cart header. It updates dynamically as customers add or remove items — no page reload required.
