How to Set Custom Product Recommendations in the Cart
The Custom option under the Increase AOV with Product Recommendations setting in Modern Cart allows you to manually choose which products appear as recommendations in the cart tray.
When you select Custom, a Custom Recommendations section becomes active. If you select any other mode, this section remains visible but is grayed out.
Note: If Custom is selected but no products are added to the Search products field, random products will be displayed in the product recommendation area.
How to Add Custom Recommendations
- Go to WooCommerce > Modern Cart > General Settings.
- Under Increase AOV with Product Recommendations, select Custom from the dropdown.
- In the Custom Recommendations section, use the Search products field to find products by typing their title.
- Select the desired product from the search results. You can repeat this step to add multiple products.
