Hey Everyone!
We’ve rolled out Power Coupons 1.0.1, a focused update that brings new extensibility options for developers, more granular control over which coupons appear in the slideout, and a round of important fixes for accessibility and display consistency.
What’s New:
- WordPress Abilities API Integration – Power Coupons now integrates with the WordPress Abilities API, making it easier to control plugin capabilities in line with WordPress-native permission patterns.
- Hide from Slideout Option – You can now hide individual coupons from the slideout drawer without affecting their availability elsewhere — giving you finer control over what shoppers see.
power_coupons_available_couponsFilter – Developers can now hook into this new filter to programmatically control which coupons are displayed, enabling custom visibility logic without touching core code.
Fixes:
- Translation Strings – Resolved untranslated strings to ensure the plugin works correctly across all languages.
- Accessibility Improvements – Addressed accessibility issues identified during the WCAG 2.2 audit to better support all shoppers.
- Drawer Trigger Alignment – Fixed a visual alignment issue with the slideout drawer trigger button.
Update to Power Coupons 1.0.1 for better developer control, cleaner coupon visibility management, and a more accessible experience out of the box.
