How to install CartFlows

To install the free CartFlows plugin on your WordPress site, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Log in to your WordPress website

When you log in, you will be in your Dashboard.

Step 2: In the Plugins menu, click on Add New Plugin

From your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin to open the plugin installation screen.

Step 3: Search for CartFlows

In the search bar, search for CartFlows.

Step 4: Click Install Now

In the WooCommerce Checkout & Funnel Builder by CartFlows card, click Install Now.

Step 5: Click Activate

Once the installation has finished, click Activate.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully installed the CartFlows plugin on your website. You can now go and configure the plugin.

Why Does This Error Occur?

This error happens because of cache-related issues. When updating the CartFlows Pro plugin, your website may still be using an outdated instance ID stored in the cache instead of the latest one. As a result, WordPress cannot retrieve the correct update package, leading to the Download not found error.

Fixing the Error

To update CartFlows Pro successfully, follow these steps:

Step 1: Clear all cache

1. Clear your browser cache.
2. Clear your website’s cache and server-side cache.

Step 2: Deactivate caching plugins

Temporarily disable caching plugins (e.g., WP Rocket, SG Optimizer).

Step 3: Deactivate the CartFlows Pro license

Go to CartFlows settings and deactivate your license.

Step 4: Deactivate the CartFlows Pro plugin

Navigate to Plugins and deactivate CartFlows Pro.

Step 5: Reactivate the CartFlows Pro plugin

Activate the plugin again from the Plugins page.

Step 6: Re-activate your license

Click on the Activate License button to reactivate your license.

Step 7: Check for updates manually

Go to Dashboard > Updates to check available update manually.

Step 8: Update the CartFlows Pro plugin

Try updating the plugin again—it should now work without errors.

Step 9: Re-enable caching plugins

Reactivate any caching plugins you previously disabled.

Additional Notes

• Some caching plugins (such as WP Rocket or SG Optimizer) cache your database, which can interfere with plugin updates.
• Always clear cache and disable caching plugins before updating CartFlows Pro to avoid issues.

Before You Start

Before activating your license, make sure:

• The CartFlows Pro plugin is installed and activated on your website. If you haven’t installed it yet, follow this document: How to Install CartFlows Pro
• You have access to your CartFlows account to retrieve the License Key.

How to Activate Your CartFlows Pro License

Step 1: Get Your License Key

1. Log in to your CartFlows account.
2. Click on API Keys from the sidebar.
3. Copy your License Key.

Step 2: Activate Your License in WordPress

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Go to Plugins.
3. Locate CartFlows Pro and click Activate License.

4. A popup window will appear. Paste your License Key into the field.
5. Click the Activate License button.

Troubleshooting License Activation Issues

License is already activated for this website

If you see this error, your license may already be linked to your site.

Solution:

1. Log in to your CartFlows account.
2. Click on API Keys from the sidebar.
3. Delete the existing entry for your website.
4. Try activating the license again.

License is activated for the same instance ID

This error may occur if you migrated your site or are re-activating the license.

A customer account does not exist for this License Key

This error means the License Key is incorrect.

Solution:

1. Log in to your CartFlows account.
2. Copy the correct License Key and paste it into the activation field again.

Installing CartFlows on a Multisite Network

Step 1: Network Activate CartFlows Free & Pro

1. Log in to your Network Admin Dashboard.
2. Go to Plugins > Add New.
3. Install both CartFlows Free and CartFlows Pro plugins.
4. Click Network Activate to activate them across all child sites.

Step 2: Activate the License on Each Child Site

Once CartFlows Pro is network activated, the license must be activated individually on each child site. Follow the steps in this document: How to Activate Your CartFlows Pro License

Important Notes

• Both CartFlows Free and Pro can be network-activated, but the Pro license must be activated per child site.
• License activation is required for CartFlows Pro to function on any child site in the network.

When you want to install a CartFlows Premium plan (Plus, or Pro), you need to download the plugin, install it, and activate the license key.

Note: The CartFlows Free plugin is required. If you haven’t installed it yet, see this document.

Installing CartFlows Pro

Step 1: Go to your Account and click on Your Products

In your Account page, go to Your Products to view all your products.

Step 2: Download CartFlows Pro

Click Download to start the .zip download.

Ste 3: Login to your WordPress website

When you log in, you will be in your Dashboard.

Step 4: In the Plugins menu, click Add New Plugin

Navigate to Plugins > Add New Plugin from your WordPress dashboard.

Step 5: Click Upload Plugin at the top of the screen

The screen will expand with the option to upload plugins.

Step 6: Upload the plugin and click Install Now

In the Add Plugins screen, you can click on Choose File and upload the .zip file. Click on Install Now to install the plugin; this may take some time.

Step 7: Click Activate Plugin

After installing the plugin, click on Activate Plugin to complete the installation.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully installed the CartFlows Pro plugin on your website.
