However, if you only need to move a single step from one funnel to another, you can do that manually using your page builder’s export and import tools.

1. Export the Step Design

  1. Go to CartFlows > Funnels and open the funnel that contains the step you want to move.
  2. Open the step in your page builder and use its built-in export option to save the design:
    • Elementor: Refer to this guide on how to save a page as a template.
    • Beaver Builder: Refer to this guide on saving templates.
    • Bricks Builder: Refer to this guide on saving templates.

2. Create a Blank Step in the Target Funnel

  1. Go to the destination funnel where you want to move the step.
  2. Add a new blank step of the same type (Landing, Checkout, Upsell, Downsell, or Thank You).
    • For example, to move a Landing page step, create a new Landing page step in the new funnel.

3. Import the Step Design

  1. Open the new blank step in the same page builder you used earlier.
  2. Use the import or template loading option to apply the previously exported design.

If you need help importing templates using your page builder, refer to this article: How to Import and Export CartFlows Pages with Your Page Builder

How to Duplicate a Funnel or Step in CartFlows https://cartflows.com/docs/clone-flow-step-in-cartflows/ Tue, 21 Jul 2020 11:30:18 +0000 https://cartflows.com/?post_type=docs&p=32955 CartFlows allows you to quickly duplicate funnels or individual steps with just one click. This is useful when you want to reuse existing layouts, settings, or configurations without building everything from scratch.

This documentation shows you how to duplicate a funnel or step from the CartFlows dashboard.

How to Duplicate a Funnel

To duplicate an entire funnel:

  1. Go to CartFlows > Funnels in your WordPress admin.
  2. Hover over the funnel you want to copy.
  3. Click Duplicate.

CartFlows will create a new funnel with the same steps and configurations. You can rename or modify it as needed.

How to Duplicate a Step

To duplicate a specific step:

  1. Go to CartFlows > Funnels.
  2. Click on the funnel that contains the step you want to duplicate.
  3. Hover over the step and click Duplicate.

The duplicated step will appear at the bottom of the funnel and will have the word “Clone” added to its title. You can rename it and drag it to a different position within the funnel if needed.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Duplicating a funnel copies all its steps and their settings.
  • Duplicating a step copies only that step — not the entire funnel.
  • If you’re using a page builder (like Elementor or Gutenberg), the design inside the step will also be copied.
